We have made an important investment to the expansion of our Used Touring Caravan Sales with the development of a new quality indoor showroom. We have also invested in a purpose built repair workshop division offering Insurance Approved Repairs.”

The story so far...

2000
Peter Roberts Caravans is formed by Peter Roberts - a trained joiner in the Caravan industry (formerly with Goodalls and Riverside Leisure). In its first year Peter Roberts Caravans sells, repairs and services more caravans than expected. Andrew Roberts joins the company
(formerly of Goodalls and Countrywide Leisure) with over 25 years in the caravan industry. This year also sees used caravan sales continue to escalate.

2001
As the repair shop expands Mick Booth joins the company. An apprenticed trained cabinet maker, Mr Booth has 35 years in the industry. John Griffin starts. An enthusiastic
caravanner for ten years, John has 25 years experience in motor maintenance. John heads up the workshop in Honley.The expansion of the repairs division sees the development of a purpose built insurance approved repair workshop with controlled heating environment.The used caravan sales continues to develop with record yearly sales.

2002
Having worked part-time for Peter during 2001 -Jane Davison joins us full-time in January 2002 with the hope of maintaining our high level of customer service as the company grows. Jane has worked in the caravan business since 1992 (formerly with Goodalls and Countrywide Leisure) she has a range of experience, in caravan sales, awnings and customer service.

2006-2010
Our Repairs centre continues to expand its insurance approved services. The workshop becomes NCC (National Caravan Council) Approved. Michelle Bradley joins the workshop. Peter Roberts are involved with the Camping Caravaning Club promoting safer caravanning in which they annually service the clubs fleet of 6 ABI Sprinter vans. Peter Roberts Caravans become sponsors of the local Lydgate School.

2011
Peter Roberts invests in new premises to offer a better used caravan selection and comprehensive workshop service facilities with dedicated valeting bays.
